She should have no excuses on the big Island-having just completed week one of three weeks at the Thanyapura Sports Centre (www.thanyapura.com) in Thailand. She arrived, her bike arrived...unfortunately her luggage took a detour! Here is her first update from Thailand.
Penny Comins reports from her Thursday in Eidfjord- just two days before she takes on the infamous Norseman (www.nxtri.com). She was 'nervous in Norway' yesterday, and not too much has changed today!
While Kona may be the ultimate goal. I think you'll forgive Penny Comins for having that as the last thing on her mind right now. 'Dig me' beach will come certainly in October, but right now, everything is focussed on the small task of conquering the Norseman this weekend. "Nervous in Norway" just about sums it up.
On the road to Norseman and Kona this year, Penny Comins is back from a weekend at L'Eroica Britannia (www.eroicabritannia.co.uk) where she had to keep her beloved aerodynamic Specialized Shiv at home complete 100 miles on a 1980's Raleigh with five gears.
