Can you believe it's March already? Easter is sneaking up on us quickly, and it's great to see all the live events popping back onto the calendar. I am a big fan of networking and have a charity night next week to go to...what to wear?! I love meeting new people and learning about their work and how they can help their clients.
At its core, networking is all about relationship building, not just finding people to work with. For example, there are people in my business networks that I may have yet to have the opportunity to work with professionally. But it is great to have trusted professionals in my network that I feel confident referring to my clients and contacts.
Professional referrals are a big part of building a business, especially in copywriting. It's easier to hire someone who has done an excellent job for someone you know, right?
